Even as I pray for my country, I know that many parts of the world face violence and upheaval each day. They often turn to The Carter Center for help because, thanks to supporters like you, Good, The Carter Center is one of the few international organizations trusted by all sides to broker agreements and verify elections. The Syrian brother and sister in this photo live in a refugee camp in Turkey. They have known violence, fear, and upheaval their entire lives.
