Asbestos and lung Cancer: The Close relationship

Asbestos Lung Cancer is a disease that anyone is at risk of. Why? Most people at one time or the other have had to live under asbestos for so many months or even years with  even know the implication or the risk. The fact is that asbestos or its products are used in the production of so many things we use on a daily. In recent past years, it is a part of any building we live or work in. Good is no longer anymore.

it is very important to understand that asbestos itself without contact or agitation cannot lead to asbestos lung cancer. It is when there is a movement of friction or contact and asbestos particles are released into the air. that one stands at risk of asbestos lung cancer.  The fact is that the fibers released are not meant to be in our body. that is why when we inhale them, it is difficult for our system, especially our lungs to interpret how to treat them, so they stay locked up in the lungs for years. and the result is asbestos lung cancer.

Over the years, so many lung cancer cases have been associated with asbestos. That is why it has been officially declared dangerous. So, it is a public knowledge that from research that asbestos has the capacity to increase the chances of coming
down with lung cancer, which we call asbestos lung cancer

Asbestos also causes some other forms of cancer such as gastrointestinal cancers and colorectal cancer. it has also been discovered that asbestos can also result in throat, kidney and gallbladder cancer. In fact a disease called Mesothelioma is a common resultant of contact with asbestos. So the family members of asbestos lung cancer seem to be wider than expected.

So many manufacturers have actually stopped the use of asbestos in production because of the reality of asbestos lung cancer and its allies. So there has been a drastic deline in asbestos intake over the past years.

However sufferers of asbestos lung cancer who are discovered early enough can still be treated and helped. There is still a world of hope for them.
