Mental Health Services for Children
Prior to 2010, Liberia had one psychiatrist to cover a nation of 4.3 million people. Now, with Carter Center-trained clinicians, the country is on track to expand mental health care access to 70 percent of its population and, for the first time, offer services to children and youth.
