You're invited to watch former U.S. President Jimmy Carter's remarks to members of the U.K. Parliament and special guests as part of the Lord Speaker's global lecture series. President Carter will address the Carter Center's continuing 30-year international campaign to eradicate Guinea worm disease, followed by audience Q&A.
The event will be webcast live from the historic Robing Room, House of Lords in the Palace of Westminster on Wednesday, Feb. 3, 5:30 p.m. GMT/12:30 p.m. EST.

The panel discussion features Carter Center expert Frank O. Richards Jr., M.D., and kicks off the international launch of Countdown to Zero: Defeating Disease, a photo-based exhibition chronicling historic disease eradication efforts, including the ongoing Carter Center-led Guinea worm eradication campaign. Ambassador (ret.)
