TODAY FOR #GIVINGTUESDAY, TRANSFORM TWICE AS MANY LIVES »
Your gift will be matched dollar for dollar.
Dear Good,

Today, you can double your #GivingTuesday impact. Help transform the lives of women, and your gift will be matched dollar for dollar by a generous donor.

Women still are more likely to be poor, illiterate, and marginalized. They’re less likely to have access to basic information that you and I may take for granted, like where to get an identification card or how to find free medical services. They sometimes can be in danger of retribution if they ask for information.

The Carter Center’s Inform Women, Transform Lives campaign is changing this, one city at a time.
Ana Veraliz
Four years ago, Ana Veraliz was at death’s door. Then she received information about services provided by Guatemala City’s women’s centers. Now she and her children are thriving. Since launching the Inform Women, Transform Lives campaign, the centers have seen a 200% increase in women using their free medical services, getting the same kind of care that saved Ana’s life.
GIVE NOW TO INFORM WOMEN AND TRANSFORM LIVES.
YOUR GIFT WILL BE DOUBLED »

Women are being empowered with information about existing government programs. Currently, across 24 cities, women are gaining access to resources like food banks, job training, mental health services, counseling for abuse survivors, and so much more.

Your #GivingTuesday gift will support Carter Center staff and in-country partners to reach women in vulnerable populations. For each woman who is empowered, her family will benefit too, and prosperity can begin to enter fragile communities.

So please make the most generous gift you can today. Your gift will go twice as far to transform the lives of women, their families, and communities. I’m so grateful for your help!

Sincerely,

YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE. MAKE A GIFT FOR PEACE »
Dear Good,

Free and fair elections are the bedrock of peace. They allow us to choose our leaders and have a say in our future.

Since 1989, The Carter Center has been an impartial observer of 113 elections in 39 countries, pioneering standards for the world. Nations invite us in to provide an unbiased assessment of election processes and offer recommendations for future improvements.
Carter Center Volunteer Training
In the 2022 U.S. midterm elections, The Carter Center deployed more than 100 nonpartisan observers to polling stations in Fulton County, Georgia, observed key pre-election processes in Arizona, and trained partner organizations in Michigan.

We developed the “Candidate Principles for Trusted Elections” encouraging candidates, political parties, and voters to commit to integrity and nonviolence during elections.

And we created Democracy Resilience Networks in Georgia, North Carolina, Florida, and Arizona — a cross-partisan collaboration that educates the public about election processes and works to ensure peaceful elections.
PLEASE FURTHER OUR EFFORTS TODAY.
MAKE A GIFT FOR PEACE »

In recent years, the United States has experienced the sort of democratic backsliding and political polarization that plagues so many of the countries where we have worked. Because of this, The Carter Center began working to bolster democracy in our own country, including piloting nonpartisan observation projects in three states. It took hundreds of volunteers and staff from all walks of life and political viewpoints to make this happen.

Our work was a success. It was proof that individuals coming together make a difference.

Good, you can make a difference now too.

By making a gift today, you can help bring proven methods for peace to even more places across the globe. We cannot rest until everyone has the chance to choose those who govern and experience the freedom of influencing their future.

With you as our partner, we can continue Waging Peace, Fighting Disease, and Building Hope. Thank you for empowering people to improve their lives.

Sincerely,

Good, 2X Match to End Guinea Worm

We need your help to put an end to this entirely preventable disease.
The Carter Center. Waging Peace. Fighting Disease. Building Hope.
DOUBLE YOUR GIFT NOW AND
HELP END GUINEA WORM DISEASE FOREVER »
Dear Good,

It has been years since I last sat with a child with Guinea worm disease, and that is a remarkable thing. As of the end of October, only nine provisional cases of Guinea worm disease had been reported in the entire world! And you are part of an inspirational team of partners who have helped make that possible.

But the fight is not over yet. We need your help to put an end to this entirely preventable disease.

Please donate to end Guinea worm disease today, and your gift will be doubled. A generous Carter Center donor is matching all gifts, up to $30,000.
Hubeida
Hubeida is a young woman now. She was one of the last children who will ever be infected with Guinea worms. Your gift fights Guinea worm disease with education, parasite-proof drinking straws, and diligent monitoring across several nations in Africa.
HELP END A DISEASE THAT PREYS UPON THE POOR »

Less than 40 years ago, 3.5 million people annually suffered from this debilitating disease. Daily life was put on hold when vulnerable people found they couldn’t work or feed their families because the pain was too great. Their children suffered with them.

By making a gift today with this special match, you will empower twice as many people with the tools to track down and treat every single case of Guinea worm and stop this disease forever. We’ve come so far, and the end is in sight, but it will take determination from people like you to make sure that we can declare victory soon.

Please help us change the world forever. Make a generous donation today and help bring a permanent end to the suffering caused by Guinea worm.

Sincerely,

Jimmy Carter
Co-Founder and Trustee
The Carter Center

P.S. I can never forget the agony suffered by those whose bodies were riddled with Guinea worms. Nothing would make me happier than to see it stopped forever. Please participate in this special match today. You can help twice as many people at no extra cost to you.
