Their faces are bright and beautiful with hope … hope you have given to them.

These children look to you and me because the new year is theirs. The future is theirs. And what we do today gives them a chance to have healthy lives safe from violence.

Every child should be able to count on that, but too many cannot. Before this year ends, please do what you can to help make 2022 a year of progress for children and all people. Your gift matters and makes you a part of our mission to improve the world. Thank you!

Sincerely,

Good, Make This a Year of Peace

Each holiday season, we celebrate the dream of Peace on Earth, but for so many that vision is far from their reality.

PLEASE BRING PEACE TO THE WORLD IN 2022 »
Dear Good,

Each holiday season, we celebrate the dream of Peace on Earth, but for so many that vision is far from their reality. Children like this boy we met in Syria have only ever known violence and danger.
The Carter Center’s Conflict Resolution Program works in countries around the world to prevent and resolve conflicts and build sustainable peace.
MAKE A GIFT NOW FOR PEACE »

By making a gift today, you can bring adults and children relief in the new year. Your tax-deductible donation will help empower the most vulnerable people.

They can gain the education to advance democracy and human rights from within their countries. They can gain the tools to reduce the burden of disease in the developing world. And we can continue work for better mental health care and understanding.

With only one day left in 2021 to make a gift, I hope you will respond today and bring us closer to realizing Peace on Earth. Please be as generous as you can.

Sincerely,

Good, Only 5 More Days

As we come to the final days of 2021, there is still time to make a gift that transforms someone’s life forever.
The Carter Center. Waging Peace. Fighting Disease. Building Hope.
DONATE NOW TO CHANGE A LIFE »
Dear Good,

As we come to the final days of 2021, there is still time to make a gift that transforms someone’s life forever. With your support, Carter Center staff and volunteers can help bring peace and health to people in need.

In countries like Ethiopia that are endemic with trachoma and river blindness, you can replace a devastating cycle of poverty with one of hope and prosperity.

Freed from the threat of blindness, adults and children can resume normal lives. They can go to school, farm for food, or sell crops at the market. They won’t fear becoming a burden to their families or being shunned by their communities.
Carter Center-supported volunteer Meleshew Sisay measures the height of one of her neighbors in Gondar District, Ethiopia, to determine how many ivermectin tablets he should receive to prevent river blindness. Home to great cultural achievements in centuries past, today Ethiopia faces high rates of neglected disease and ethnic tensions. This is the type of challenging environment where your gift can have a powerful impact.
MAKE A GIFT NOW TO CHANGE A LIFE »

When you make a gift today, you’ll help us deliver proven methods for ending diseases that prey upon the poor. River blindness, for instance, has been eliminated almost entirely from the Western Hemisphere, and we are ready to assist in bringing the same results to other nations.

You’ll also help us continue to advance peace and human rights for all. People living in fragile democracies or areas of conflict can receive the training and resources that facilitate fair elections, equal rights, and government accountability.

Please take a moment now to continue this important work. With just a few days left in 2021, you can still make a difference. We’re depending on you. Thank you for your generosity!

Sincerely,

Good, These Are the Gifts That Matter

The best gifts we make this time of year are ones that are a source of peace, health, and joy.
The Carter Center. Waging Peace. Fighting Disease. Building Hope.
GIVE THE GIFT OF PEACE AND HEALTH »
Dear Good,

The best gifts we make this time of year are ones that are a source of peace, health, and joy. When we share those gifts with our loved ones and people on the other side of the world, we increase the peace, health, and joy of all humanity.

That’s what this season is about. And that’s why this is the time of year when generous people make their largest donations to causes they believe in. I’m thankful that The Carter Center is on your list. Your gift of health and peace decreases suffering and increases joy.
You Can Give Good Health ...
Carter Center supporters have changed the lives of millions of people who are no longer at risk for six preventable diseases — Guinea worm, river blindness, trachoma, schistosomiasis, lymphatic filariasis, and malaria. We have nearly eradicated Guinea worm disease and are making steady progress on the others using health education and simple, low-cost methods.

And people like this little girl are free from disease and can get an education, grow up healthy, produce more food, earn a living, care for their children, participate in elections, advocate for themselves and their community, and work for peace.
You Can Give Peace ...
When you support The Carter Center, you monitor elections and deepen democracy by working to ensure equal access to government, the rule of law, justice, human rights, and access to information.

These voters in Kenya are expressing their hope in peace and democracy. And people who are at peace and are safe from violence can build a stable economy where good health is a priority, where children are vaccinated, where malnutrition is eliminated, and where healthy children become healthy adults who can advocate for all.

Sincerely,
