President Carter will address the Carter Center's continuing 30-year international campaign to eradicate Guinea worm disease, followed by audience Q&A. The event will be webcast live from the historic Robing Room, House of Lords in the Palace of Westminster.

Then, please return tomorrow (Thursday, Feb. 4, at 1 p.m. EST) for a link to watch a live panel discussion at The London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine on the innovative and collaborative approaches being developed around the world to combat disease.

The panel discussion features Carter Center expert Frank O. Richards Jr., M.D., and kicks off the international launch of Countdown to Zero: Defeating Disease, a photo-based exhibition chronicling historic disease eradication efforts, including the ongoing Carter Center-led Guinea worm eradication campaign. Ambassador (ret.) Mary Ann Peters, Carter Center CEO, and Dame Marjorie Scardino, Carter Center trustee and chairman of the London School, will co-host the exhibition opening.
